Borchetta Bourbon celebrates bold flavors and motorsports heritage, crafted from hand-selected, aged Tennessee barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Borchetta Bourbon
2024
This first release of Borchetta Bourbon from Big Machine Distillery celebrates the family’s passion for motorsports and fine spirits, two cornerstones of the Big Machine family of brands.
Only our finest spirits were put into these individually numbered bottles at cask strength. Each barrel, aged a minimum of five years, was hand-selected by the Borchetta family for its distinct flavors, color, and mouthfeel. You will find our characteristic Big Machine bold, smokey flavor consistent throughout Borchetta Bourbon, but many of the similarities end there. Every barrel brings on its own individual attributes such as cherry wood, caramel, and rose.
Also consistent, is the uniquely replicated Marmon Wasp open-wheel race car, winner of the first ever 500-mile race held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1911. It crowns every bottle of this limited-release inaugural allocation.
The year 1911 also references back to the race photo above from the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. That is a track where you will find reference to Big Machine Founder and CEO, Scott Borchetta, who resides in the speedway’s prestigious Hall of Fame due to his racing success at the track.
Finally, we associate our passion for motorsports with this year’s debut of open-wheel racing through the streets of Nashville in the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. Whether you are a race fan, a bourbon fan, or both, sit back and enjoy this rare and original Tennessee Bourbon from our family to yours.
